Today’s image is from the San Diego Wildlife Park in Escondido, CA. I hope, at some not-to-distant time to get to Africa for the real thing. So far this has been as good as it gets for savannah and jungle wildlife.
Profile shot of Ivan. Being so tall, getting the face and eyes properly framed is difficult unless you just do it and have a head shot. I moved around so that I could get the shadow of his ear covering his eye. Pretty smart these giraffe.
