There are several of these “ghost bikes” in different parts of Austin. They are left at or near the place a biker was killed, usually by a careless motor vehicle driver. This bike is on the Pflugerville Bridge which spans Lady Bird Johnson Lake in downtown Austin. There is another on 6th Street near Blanco, and another off of the 360 Loop, west of Mopac.
