Cattle Pens Lighthouse on San Juan Island, WA at the Juan de Fuca straight.
I enjoy taking pictures of lighthouses. This one is in Washington State in the San Juan Islands. It warned sailors of the dangers or rocks as they were going through the Juan de Fuca straight. It is no longer in operation and is boarded up with plywood panels owing to the fact that erosion has made the structure unstable. There is some ongoing effort to raise restoration funds.
