Every night around 5pm a local fisherman puts out fish scraps along the road from Friday Harbor to attract Eagles, providing an excellent opportunity for birders to see these magnificent birds close-up. I took this image with my Canon EOS 5D MkII and my Canon 70-200mm f2.8 lens. The sun was very bright at this time of day in late June so I could use a very fast shutter speed. Of course the flip side of that was the extreme glare.
