Downtown Austin has a lot of wall art of this kind, especially around 5th and 6th streets, some of it has clearly been paid for by the building tenants, others not so much.

Passing Through . . . . 
During lunch, I was talking to a colleague of mine and we both agreed that Austin is our favorite Texan city… Now I see this 🙂
Austin is the best place I have ever lived in, except during July-September. We go to our place in Evergreen, CO then. Austin in Oct-Dec just can’t be beat. The only downside here, other than the heat is living with the University of Texas. They bring a lot of good cultural events, but they dominate everything, including the real estate market.
I interviewed for a job back in 2007 and I was seriously considering it… at the end we couldn’t agree on terms. But I really enjoyed my 2 trips out there 🙂
