This is the time of year that there are multiple fairs and festivals in Central Texas, before the great heat arrives, driving everyone into air-conditioned spaces as a kind of hibernation. This weekend, the town of Dripping Springs had its annual Founders Days celebration with crafts, a lot of music and, of course a lot of meat being grilled. Here are a few pictures.
Grilling meat is a big deal in this part of the world as is drinking beer.
This is one of the larger cookers. Most of the grillers are men.

A necessity at events like this!

Hi,
I love going to festivals, everyone usually always as a great time. The barbeques and drinking beer is also a big deal in Australia as well. 🙂
I love Fosters, especially in what we call the oil can.
