These Buffalo live on a ranch outside of Evergreen, CO, about 4 miles from our place. I especially enjoy photographing the buffs when there are a bunch of new babies. I missed catching the mother licking the baby by about 2 seconds. I waited, but mom walked away about 1 minute later.
