This is an early morning picture of the Pacific Ocean taken from the Highland Inn, a combination hotel/timeshare near Carmel-by-the-Sea. I converted a lot of my surf pictures into black and white because the hotel has a marvelous collection of black and white surf images in its upper lobby. The Highland Inn is a wonderful hotel and well worth a visit should you be in the area.
